Kudos to the young actors!

It is immediately evident that the three main actors in the movie have a solid acting background. Geordie Cowan is serious when he must be, and does a wonderful job of adding comic relief with his witty one-liners. Benjamin Thomas has a sombreness about him that makes the audience feel what he is feeling, and hope that he can muster the strength to find his way by the end of the movie. Paige Francoeur is able to disclose enough of her character so that the audience is able to identify with her thinking. However, she manages to leave enough space so that we are completely surprised by the reveals that come later in the show. I only wish that the plot would have gone a little deeper. I was intrigued when Sarah was ready to share more of her story with Jack, but then a little let-down when she didn't have a bigger story. Even more elaboration regarding Brendon's "controlling" part in the relationship would have made the moment (and movie) more profound.
