Madonna kills this music video, paying homage to one of the greats and set to all set to an amazing song. Material girl is an iconic 80s song and it still hold up.

Words ring so true as video shines and sparkles!

This 1985 hit from the "Material Girl" holds true as the video is a showcase of sparkles and shining merchandise showing and proving that gals love the bling! Listening to the song the words hold and ring true we live in a material world as people want and get more. The music video is telling in it's own right as Madonna similar to Marilyn Monroe tries as an actress to woo and court the heart of hot actors as they try to win her with gifts which she adores with display! Overall true song that has it's music video go hand and hand with it!

Bubble gum pop, pretty forgettable

"Madonna: Material Girl" is a 4-minute music video by the artist in the title for the song in the title. This one is by successful 8music video) director Mary Lambert and this was by far not the only occasion she worked with Madonna. The latter was of course one of the biggest stars back then roughly half the age she is today. But this one we have here does not justify her stardom by any means. I found it extremely forgettable, both the song and the video. There's also not really any known actors in here like in other Madonna videos. I guess Deke Anderson doesn't count. So yeah, this one here is from 1985 when I was alive but not yet one year old, so it had its 30th anniversary already. I cannot go easy on this one. People who criticize most female pop singers today cannot say that this one here is quality music by any means. Madonna has done some great stuff in her career, but this one here certainly doesn't fit the category. Watch 8and listen to) something else.
