  [shoots Oliver in his arm] 

  Adrian Chase : Come on, man! You've seen people come back from what seemed like certain death. As I recall... you were once stabbed and fell off a mountain, yet here you are!

  Oliver Queen : Because I got away from you.

  The Hood : You were never supposed to have partners. There was never supposed to be a John Diggle. A Felicity Smoak. A Team Arrow. There never was supposed to be a Green Arrow! There was only the mission!

  The Hood : You lost your city! And now you know what you have to do to get it back.

• Felicity Smoak : So, ever since Dinah and company got fired, I have been monitoring the station's internal security feed, and every night at 10:13, this happens.

  [showing him snow on the security monitors] 

  Felicity Smoak : And then, boop, 45 minutes later, the feed goes back online like clockwork. He's monitoring his minions in blue. He's got to be.

  Oliver Queen : I agree.

  Felicity Smoak : If you're thinking what I think you're thinking, you need to stop thinking it right now. It's bad.

• Oliver Queen : My wife wants a separation. I lost my temper in front of my son. I scared him. It was really bad.

  Quentin Lance : Well, you know, I mean, just apologize to the kid, sleep on the couch for the night, and... you know, a separation just seems a little extreme.

  Oliver Queen : You know, Quentin, with everything that's been happening, it feels like par for the course.

  Quentin Lance : You talking about John Diggle?

  Oliver Queen : John, Curtis, Rene, Dinah. Why haven't you quit?

  Quentin Lance : Promise of a raise.

• Oliver Queen : You said I've changed. I-I appreciated what you said. Why does everyone keep leaving me?

  Quentin Lance : That's the thing about change, right? You hope you're doing the right thing by becoming a better person, but you're also becoming a different person. Some people, they just... I guess like John, they just react badly.

  Oliver Queen : That's one possibility.

  Quentin Lance : What's the other?

  Oliver Queen : That I haven't really changed at all.

  Quentin Lance : Oh, come on. I don't buy that. What you've told me about John and Curtis, all those guys, they got their own issues, all right? They're just putting 'em on you.

  Oliver Queen : And Felicity?

  Quentin Lance : Felicity loves you, man. That thing with her and William, it's gonna blow over. Don't worry about that. My advice, you just got to focus on what's right in front of us now, okay?

• Quentin Lance : I'm gonna reach out to Samanda Watson. Maybe she can help cover us on this.

  Oliver Queen : Quentin, the woman wants me in prison.

  Quentin Lance : But shen also wants justice, right? Taking down a crime boss who's overrun a city seems to fit the bill in my eyes.

• Adrian Chase : Sorry, Oliver. Bad beat. For what it's worth, I always thought you were a halfway decent mayor. Not a great track record when it comes to hiring D.A.s, though.

  Oliver Queen : This Vertigo is going to be out of my system eventually, and you'll be gone.

  Adrian Chase : Not possible. I'm not here, remember?

  [pointing to Oliver's temple, indicating his brain] 

  Adrian Chase : I'm here. I'm you, which is why you're gonna listen to me when I tell you what you have to do. The only way to prove that you're the hero that you say you are and keep being mayor is to take down Diaz tonight.

  Oliver Queen : No. He's got an army.

  Adrian Chase : You mean all those cops at the SCPD?

  Oliver Queen : I mean that walking in there is a suicide mission.

  Adrian Chase : That's the risk a hero takes, isn't it, Oliver? Diaz is there every night, 10:13 p.m. The question is will you be there to meet him?
