Simple Transition

I agree that the way things play out with each relationship dealt with in some way leads me to believe that the second season was already in play. I wish I had a chart to show me where everyone is as we move on. Which are of substance and which have been replaced by their shadows? So this is aftermath and not conclusion. I'm intrigued about the next offering to see how things are resurrected.

Warning: Spoilers
I didn't really like how this episode was all about setting up future seasons instead of leaving us with a cliffhanger or a shock that would have wrapped things up had it not been renewed.

It was a solid episode, but it seems like this show is content on moving at a snail's pace. No one's identity is what it seems, but unfortunately at some point they will run out of characters whose backstories they can change.

An enjoyable episode, a solid first season, but I don't know if the show ever lived up to its hype.

Warning: Spoilers
Up to episode 8 I was amazed.. with ep 9 there was a road bump.. then the season finale with plot armor.

"Bad" Howard turned himself in and said it was Coyles wife and (of course) there was immediate gunfire to stop any discussion. Then aldrich simply wants to kill him without talking??? Kill a man that's helped them more in a week than they've figured out in 5 years? He was a smarter long game operative. There's so much nonsense it's not worth it.

Convenient Warning: Spoilers
Well, that episode destroyed the whole series.

We have 5 people in the whole universe that fight for the good. And for no reason Howard alongside with a murderer kills Aldrich. Can someone explain this. Or why Aldrich set up a trap to Howard. This doesnt make any sense. How convenient is that in the last episode the 2 people who know the truth about that useless Peters wife die. The whole episode was a cover so that the story could continue. Nothing more.

The whole series lucks to understand the nature of a spie. The only good part was the one with the floors, and the death of pope. Thats why this episode gets a 6 and not a 3.

This Is Where the Diplomacy End.

While the first part of the 'No Man's Land' was a nice lead-up to the climax of the season I didn't expect such an exciting episode. After promising pilot, the show started to lose some momentum. I liked the slow pace, but it started to drag a little bit in here and there. Even after the penultimate episode, I wasn't quite sure that I will go beyond the first season. Interesting enough, but not completely spellbinding. The last episode's high pace, interesting turns, and final cliffhanger give me no choice other than dive into the second season. One can assume, based on this episode, that the second season will be more thrilling and moves on at a higher pace. The battleground is set, many chapters closed, many affairs cleared, some characters have found their inevitable end and all main characters have begun a new journey.
