As the series premiere continues, Lucifer shows off her powers of perception in order to catch GadZeke, while Samael is freed from an entirely different kind of prison, in order to bring David, and fifteen other Canadians, back to life.
GadZeke awaits the alignment of the planets in a distant galaxy, allowing him to awaken the Acolytes one at a time, including David, Aiko, Harry and Ronnie.
Newly-awakened and slightly confused, Aiko rushes into battle, while the Acolytes field a battery of small tests from GadZeke before the group starts to enter the fray and Aiko flexes her muscles.
Aiko and Ben find that a Hydra's harder to kill than it looks, while David rallies the troops and the Acolytes struggle to find a solution to their problem.
Ben leads the Acolytes in an attempt to defeat the Hydra, while Lucifer, Gabriel and GadZeke give the group instruction, back on Terra, strange events start to happen.
After entering the cave, they find a message that shows them the way, until David makes the ultimate sacrifice for the good of the group, letting them make it outside.
The group decides to look up, way up, before they end up heading down the mountain, leading to an interesting interaction with a group of David Doubles, and a crash landing with a skeletal twist.
When danger approaches Harry and Avery spring into action, finding new powers before Aiko ultimately upstages them all, and Maya starts to come out of her shell.
The group encounters an obstacle that is seemingly insurmountable after several failed attempts to pass, Ronnie makes a startling discovery, and Hudson shows just how powerful water can be.
Zed and GadZeke have a strange experience before Mica and Rafe take matters into their own hands, and Harry loses his head when Lucy reveals the nature of their selection process. Aiko makes an impression on Mica.
The group gets their team assignments, while a new toy for Avery leaves Jonah alone with Gabriel. Slate and Harry run the Gauntlet, while Hudson overhears something he shouldn't have.
Hudson's problems get worse as he tries to navigate his new waters, the Empress shows off her skills, and David sees a rare glimpse into Gabriel and Lucifer's origins before Gabriel decides to bring him further into the fold.
Harry and Gabriel take a trip to Egypt House, before Ariel takes matters into his own hands. Asher shows he is not one to be trifled with as Ronnies powers of perception make her an invaluable asset.
