Very bad episode to start the 4th season
borg_site10 February 2021
This episode is a complete dud. The plot with Adam isn't consistent with the existing narrative up to this point and feels forced. He isn't even a remotely interesting character. On top of this there is a new female co-narrator, who is a disaster from the get go. She breaks up the flow of the story and makes the show very hard to watch. If it ain't broke, don't fix it! This show may have peaked with the great season 3, which is rather unfortunate.

Female Narrative
pamnron17 October 2017
My husband and I have been devout followers of this series from Day One. Love, love, love the male narrator! Was such a clever addition. However, having just watched the new Series: Chapter Sixty-Five, we are introduced to the addition of a female narrator! And they have "discussions" (i.e., like a "voice over") between the two of them throughout the show! Can I just say (and my husband totally agrees) we strongly dislike this addition of the female narrator. It's confusing, it's distracting, and it's just not funny at all! A total mistake to have added that element. The "formula" was perfect - who, unfortunately, altered it? Not sure if it was just for this first episode (sure hope so!!!), or now going to be a regular thing; but it's enough to actually give up the series if it continues. It's really lost something, and diluted the delightful male narrator. So sad....
