Sex & Nudity

  • In a flashback, a young girl (under 13) is raped. The man who raped her is not seen, so she is seen struggling against an invisible entity, as other children watch. Incredibly disturbing scene.
  • It is implied that a brother and sister are in an incestuous relationship. Nothing graphic is seen.

Violence & Gore

  • At the start of the film, two of the main characters fight with each other verbally which escalates to a physical fight.
  • A woman is stated to have committed suicide. It is implied she may have set herself on fire.
  • Three children beat a man to death.
  • An adult figure is seen stringing up children to marionettes and controlling their bodies. Not graphic, but very disturbing visually.
  • Each of the main characters slowly burn to death.
  • It is revealed that a child had a severe mental breakdown and stabs his father to death, but the trauma of what he had done made him unable to remember the events.
  • Three characters become controlled by another character, and attack their sister in various ways (i.e., stabbing, hitting with a chair, choking to death). They do not actually harm her, as this is revealed moments later to have only happened in their heads.
  • A group of children are tied to chairs and forced to watch another child being raped by a man they believe to be their father.
  • It is revealed that after murdering their 'father', a group of children are convinced by their nanny to hide the body by lighting the home on fire.
  • Mary reveals her face to be horribly disfigured. This is graphic.
  • A group of children are convinced to, unknowingly, commit suicide, by setting themselves and everything around them on fire.
  • A woman rescues a group of children from a fire, but it is later revealed that they did not survive.

  • It is revealed that a group of young children are subjected to mind altering drugs on a frequent basis by a man and woman that they believe are their father and nanny.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • A young girl believes she has escaped her attacker and he is thought to be unconscious. Seconds later she is grabbed and begins to convulse in mid air before collapsing. It is heavily implied she was raped.
  • During a sequence, each character slowly loses their sanity, seemingly regressing to children, before lighting themselves on fire.
  • A man sees an apparition that threatens to hurt him if he reveals her secret. The apparition's burned appearance may scare viewers.
  • It is revealed that the main characters died as children, but were unaware they had died.
  • In a scene, an adult figure is seen controlling four children on marionettes. This is done in shadows, but is still disturbing.
  • A woman menacingly comforts four children, before taking control of their body and mind, convincing them to set their home and bodies on fire.
  • Mary's burned appearance can be disturbing. In some scenes her scaring is more graphic than others.
  • It is revealed that the main characters are not biologically siblings, but all were adopted by a man for human psychological experimentation. They are brought up to believe that the man and his assistant are their father and nanny. He and his assistant abuse the children physically and verbally.
  • A man is seen having multiple severe panic attacks through out the film. Very emotional.
  • Entire film is disturbing and emotional. Some scenes may upset or scare viewers.
