I feel bad for having missed out on a night of new "Adventure Time" episodes, but I got to see most of them at least. This is easily one of the best in these episodes. We finally get one of the most important revelations in the entire show: who Finn's mom is! I admit that I thought it was really funny when Jake said, "Where's my bones?" and Finn said, "That's my arm!" in these slowed down voices. Finn finally meets with his mother whom he was separated from for years. We get to see an entire island of humans! They don't look that much like Finn and there are more distinct designs.
I like how they're confused by Jake as a talking and stretching dog. We think we see Finn's mother, but she actually has robot duplicates everywhere in the city! Finn's mother (Minerva) reveals that she uploaded her brain into a computer system because all of the doctors were dying from a virus and this saved the survivors. I just love the idea of Finn calling Minerva "Mom". Finn was already raised by loving parents, so it's great to see he had at least one loving biological parent. We all know how far a mother's love will go. ****
