Kevin doesn't have cancer. Fiona's having a hard time being a landlord. Frank has become a perfectly law abiding citizen and he's now a supervisor at work. Ian's missing his late mother. Lip is trying to earn his ex back by trying to make his boyfriend a meth addict again but while he's trying to sabotage the man he thought he was trying to help him and thanked him for that. Ian and his ex being chubby chasers and that Ian cried in the arms of a bear was hilarious. In the unit storage of Monica a guy chased Ian asking about his meth. And Ian made a tattoo of big boobs without asking while wanting a tattoo of his mother because the tattoo artist thought she's his girlfriend.

In my last review I talked about the difficulty in supporting Lip and it does not change here. He is egotistical and not a hero in any way.
The Ian story is really boring too.
I think the show suffers from loyalty too much. Some of these characters would have moved away by now and yet we've had all of the main Gallagher clan for all 8 seasons.
