An improvement

A massive improvement from the somewhat disappointing opening episode. The records are set straight, everything is easy to follow. The plot is more focused on Uhtred and his ambitions which is good. I like it when the story is more personal and grounded than when it is ambitious and larger-than-life. The episode takes an unexpected turn towards end that hopefully will lead more exciting adventures.

Uhtred is as reckless as they come, always spouting off and thinking he knows what is right and being an arse in general. Decent acting and as always great costuming.

Kind of more of the same

Cool show overall, but this is another episode in which a weak leader is influenced by his priest to betray Utred.
