HIM is a typical US indie horror flick split into two halves. The first is entirely random and doesn't feel like a horror film at all. Instead, the camera follows a couple of young and attractive women around as they dress in bikinis and their underwear. There's a lot of conversing and lying in bed chatting on telephones; the director's aim to entertain is obvious. The second half changes tack entirely and goes down the old 'paranormal investigation' route as a bunch of boring ghost bunters hunt for an evil, barely-glimpsed clown. Both halves are pretty empty and devoid of interest.

Have you ever heard of Jesus? Well if you haven't this is the exact definition of it. I absolutely loved the acting in this movie, especially when that one Mexican guy kept screaming over and over again. The old man at the beginning was also my favorite character, he has the best lines and also is definitely the best actor in the movie. I'm only rating it one star because the music was absolute garbage. The clown at the end was awesome and the scariest thing I've seen since Michael Jackson's color change. Overall great comedy, 1/10 would recommend
