Better than its sequel, JoyBear's romantic "Housemates" is a trivial yet satisfying Adult feature. Audiences familiar with the label (and its "naughty but nice" approach) will get exactly what they expect.
Sicilia and Satine Spark are two lovely blondes, very natural looking and performing, who I've seen on screen several times but have yet to make a "big-name" impact. They are the most appealing of the folk living together in a London home, with slight but mildly diverting romantic adventures developing among the principals. Segment titles (meant presumably to play as stand-alone vignettes if so desired by today's streamers) include: "Three's Company, Four's a Crowd", "Romantic Bliss", "Kindness to Strangers", "Spring Clean" and "Home Improvement", so you get the drift.
As usual for JoyBear, this is performed as pantomime with exposition voiced over by Nell Rose. Auteur uses the nom de porn "Stevie McQueens", apparently a riff not on the great American icon actor but rather current British director Steve McQueen of "12 Years a Slave" fame.
