Not So Grand Jury

I wish this was the end of Mike Kresteva, but his comments indicated we haven't seen the last of him. It was a solid episode, but it had a little too much Elsbeth. She is fine once in a blue moon like she appeared on The Good Wife, but for now she's invaded the show and its turning it too much into a comedic circus.

For someone interested in the law it was a very technically sound and intriguing case though.

What a shame. What a crying shame.

For all it was nice to see the now much missed but forever loved Matthew Perry go through projects like 'Go On' and 'The Odd Couple' (though he looked unwell at times during this one), he never really had that second act of his career he craved.

What a shame therefore that he couldn't have stayed on a show like this that would really have tested him. He would have been part of an ensemble, it wouldn't have been all on his head, and he could have continued to shine as he does here.

His character is snide, he's verging on unpleasant, but in the hands of Perry we still sort of root for him.

What a loss he truly is.
