I urge you to try an find a drama with better acting or more tension.

Where do you even begin.

The scale of what's going on in this episode is quite remarkable, it is very big, very dramatic, and does provide one of those shocking scenes, one of those moments that makes you think 'it can't be happening' but it does, a similar scene would follow in the next series.

The acting is sublime, definitely driven by Thandie Newton, who shows many skills she possesses. I'm more more confused as to the identity of balaclava man than I was before this episode started. They have done a wonderful Job with this series.

A part that holds your attention, as you get deeper into this series, you notice that it's been very much a stand alone series, yes Roz mentions Lindsay Denton, but that's it, no mention of the caddy, no faces from the past popping up.

Saddest moment, learning who the snitch is. That was cruel to so that to us.

Classy, 9/10.

Another strong episode with standout moments

AC12 attempt to put the squeeze on DSI Huntley.

This is strong episode with some nice intricate plotting and tense character exchanges.

The story is very good as always and the political manoeuvring of certain characters is very compelling.

For me there are two aspects that stand out. The episode includes another excellent interview scene and all the characters involved are superb, particularly Huntley, who is very cleverly written in what she does in and outside the interview.

I am also intrigued by the depiction of Mr Huntley. The character is being portrayed a certain way, but you can't help but feel like you are waiting for him to drop the weakling act and dramatically turn into an absolute sociopath. This might not happen (as the writer likes to make you guess), but such are the twists and turns in Line of Duty you cannot rule anything out.

All actors are on superb form, particularly Thandiwe Newton.

For me it's an 8.5/10, but I round upwards.

Lots of twists and turns. It has taken 4 installments but series 4 has finally reached the high standard of the first 3.

Hoping the same high standard can be maintained.

How can You make the brilliant series 1-3 and end up in this disaster.

Normally I don't write reviews in here, but I'm so infuriated by this ridiculous series 4. Thandie Newton is a pain to watch. Toewrenching bad acting. Trying to be "hard and tough", but with no effect at all. It's not exciting to see her on screen. The only reason she seems clever is because everyone else, is mesmerised by her captivating personality. Not.

This is a series regarding AC-12 and not Thandie Newton. I'd rather have Marcella as the opponent to AC-12 than bland Thandie Newton.
