You gotta see it to believe how bad it is!

Brit porn specialists Paul Chaplin and Ben Dover team up for a disaster, attempting to rib the long-running local hit TV Britcom "Only Fools and Horses...". Flop sweat is how a real comedian would refer to this fiasco.

Chaplin, who funded this late, not so great British porn company Bluebird Films, has a number of fetishes, including staging orgies. So "Only Fools" boasts six orgies, putting top-heavy British actresses to work in sort of a Blighty version of our country's WPA during the depression. Running well over 3 hours long spells tedium.

Not helping matters is Chaplin's approach to comedy. He keeps popping up with each line punctuated by a phony cackle of laughter, apparently mocking TV styles. The hit show was never exported to the USA, so I have no idea what is really being lampooned here, nor will most audiences outside of the UK. Not a very clever idea for a porn film.

Storyline has Ben (played by Steve Perry, the man behind the pseudonym) and his flunky played by Jamie Barry, hang out in pubs and concocting idiotic schemes about peddling porn DVDs. It's foolish and not even qualifying as slapstick, as I expected some Benny Hill action, given the plethora of attractive Britsh femme flesh on view. Various running gags begin with highly unlikely constables Stacey Saran and Anna Lovato, local superstars not above getting down and dirty when the occasion calls for it.

Many of the girls are unfamiliar but all interesting to look at. Chaplin comes up with a scheme of staging a mass audition for female porn talent, but the mess of a film, that he probably directed himself, uncredited, never even follows up on that plot thread. All in all it's merely another showcase for no-talent Chaplin to get himself photographed f*cking as many women as the budget will allow, one ridiculous ego trip.
