How Deep Into This Can You Get?
Hitchcoc10 November 2016
Warning: Spoilers
Eldon Chance continues to be a loose cannon. Like the main character in "Of Human Bondage," he is all consumed with a woman who can only hurt him. We find out in this episode that he has had this kind of relationship before and has suffered from the results. He is a continually frustrating character because he is deeply involved in dealing with the cop, Blackston, and protecting the woman. Blackstone knows he's out there and waits for him in a parking garaged, beating the crap out of him. He also drags his longtime friend into the mix. She is scared. He has enlisted D to help him, but he is so cautious that he fails to realize that he has made a deal with the devil. D is crazy on the one hand and yet the master of his space. He must constantly lecture Chance because he can't depend on him to act as he needs to. Chance continues to pursue his goal, and, even after observing his violent partner ply his trade, wants things to go a different way. He wants to punish Blackstone, but he doesn't want to take it to its natural conclusion. Chance continues to bug me with his docility. Also, he should have dumped that woman long ago. What kind of relationship could they even have?

Warning: Spoilers
The Suzanne character is really boring. Thankfully she is not on that much, but she brings nothing to the table.

The rest of the show is getting better, the message is starting to get clearer and more action-packed, but there is still a lot of work to be done. Something is just not clicking in a way that is making the most out of its lead actor.
