Too bad, Charlene Prickett and her friends are no longer on the air. This thirty minute exercise series aired daily on Lifetime network twice a day. It was a great exercise series due to the fact of Charlene Prickett, Arkansas born and raised, who lived in Calgary at the time. The series was taped in a white plain studio. Charlene and her friends made me want to move to Calgary myself for years. Charlene's common sense advice and sensible approach was met with enthusiasm and encouragement for even the laziest of fans. Just getting up and moving around is enough for a newcomer. Charlene had a various assortment of friends who joined her like best friend Renee, a geneticist and mother of two boys; Debra from Taber; Lonnie the lawyer; Lori, the publisher; and Ruth, a seventy year old woman in terrific shape.
