I had just watched that classic Girlfriends' release "Poor Little Shyla" and it makes for an interesting comparison with Bree's movie (evidently produced for an even younger generation of fans, just 5 years later, who are not into the old-fashioned stuff). The original film is moving and utterly real in the performances by Raveness and others, yet has quality black humor provided by a sociopath played by Faye Reagan, preying on Shyla and equally vulnerable little Tabby. In "Sharing", the sex is played unnaturally to the camera, and the tongue is planted firmly in the cheek -definitely no pun intended here.
Overall, the 3-1/2 hour "Sharing" is definitely worth watching, with yet another superstar Tara Morgan (playing Syren's blood-related daughter), sporting a new look, also sexy as hell. Tease factor is provided by Samantha Rone, a true beauty among lesbian genre starlets, who shows up only in a non-sex role. Mention of another daughter named Kenna hints that in a sequel we'll get Kenna James joining in the crypto-incest action.
