Fascinating Detective Story

The best part of this drama is the excellent story telling by the writers. It kept me on the edge of my seat. Although we all know how the story ends there is more than enough good content to keep you interested throughout. The production was first rate.

In an age when people are regularly "convicted" in the media with no defense, this story will bring you back to center with the reality of how much work it really takes to bring someone to justice. My 14 year old was transfixed throughout. This film really brought home a lesson I have tried to teach her concerning how special it is to live in a country where the police can't just knock down your door. In the vast majority of the world the authorities don't need a warrant.

Our FBI works tirelessly and on pennies. You can clearly see why in this series.

Episode 1

I think we all know the name the unabomber, but we don't all know the whole story so I was definitely glad to check this show out. It's an interesting cast that meshed well and told a good story.

I don't like how they're operating in two timelines: before they catch him and trying to get a confession, but I'll give that idea a chance. The show is pretty good though.

A very beautiful series .. It combines the plot of drama and action, and connects them in a way that I have not seen in any other series.

It is astonishing that I sympathized with the criminal despite his historical criminal acts that shook the United States of America.

4 stars. Gripping story. Too many commercials on Investigation Discovery.

4 stars for presentation.The story is gripping. But I watched it on Investigation Discovery channel (ID) and they constantly interrupted the story with commercials and previews of upcoming stories. Too many interruptions for me. Not sure if I will continue to watch other episodes on Investigation Discovery channel.

Great Series

I am surprised not there is so little user review here.

This series is very good, while trying much to stay to the real story.

My note is Paul Bettany is so great that - to be honest - I have more sympathy to the bad guy victimised by gov experiment than the FBI guy whose handsome face always looks blank, using his friends and leaving his sons and wife just to get acknowledgements from his colleagues. While watching this series, it really made me think who the real bad guy is. Unfortunately, the bomber killed and injured some people. Otherwise, we can really tell who the bad guy is.

I wanted to yell at several people in this series

The part with the back and forth with the higher-up agents really frustrated me - I could feel the tension there. That was the first time the series made me fell something and then the episode with Ted´s story came - and I was utterly gripped. I cried. It was so well done and so well acted - I really, really enjoyed this series so much.

The Bomb solver

A pretty interesting case with a nice investigations. We learn also more about the main character: in the two different times: Past and future and we can learn that he already stopped the unabomber but is it really him?? Or they catched the wrong guy? I didnt feel bored to watch it and it have nice visuals and very immersive. A nice introduction in that first episode and we clearly need to see more.

Not sure what is going on with Netflix this says it's a 2020 show. All the names match although the title of the episodes look different.

Okay, man feeds his dogs! Says hi to his momma. He's Richard Jewell. He saved lives doing his job! He's a menace!!

Loved the start of this. The bombing was well done. +1 Star

The intro of the ATF bomb guys was cool. +1 Star

Useless Trite Melodrama and Tropes

These episodes muddle true facts with melodrama of the loner genius vs. idiot bosses. Also, 1/3 of drama is about a meeting that never happened, and incorrect facts of how Ted pled guilty
