RUN is a short British horror effort about a teenage girl being chased by a demon. There's no more to it than that, and this film does indeed have momentum to it which means that it's a well-paced watch. The main problem, and it's a common one, is that it's an entirely derivative little effort in which the director has no voice of his own. Instead he copies IT FOLLOWS quite openly and at the end copies those bone-cracking limb jerks so beloved of Hollywood ghost films of the last decade. Add in a series of dull black and white flashbacks and what you have doesn't amount to much.
