Britain's daring! Media porn label decamped for continental Europe some time back, and 3 years ago decided to go "soft" with emphasis on a new label christened "daring! pure". It has dismayed loyal fans (dating back 10 years to its salad days with such hits as "Roma") like me, but the decision to pursue that elusive Couples/Romance audience niche seems irreversible.
"A Lovers Tryst" (sic) is quite typical of this new product line, consisting of ever so soporific vignettes of couples making love, devoid of story, characters, emotional connection or anything else to grab the viewer's attention. Dreamy, abstracted porn has a long tradition, dating back to David Hamilton many decades back and his pursuit of young girls, and more famously the artsy-fartsy videos of "Andrew Blake". But these daring! pure efforts are merely boring, the cardinal sin of any entertainment venture.
One of the best current British actresses Victoria Summers is featured, but two weeks after watching the video I have completely forgotten her participation, so vapid is the footage. The guys, who do double duty with other girls in other segments, are a dismayingly rubber-stamp bunch, with fashionably bad haircuts, requisite tattoos and of course, big dicks.
