The Starlite Restaurant and Pizzeria is the subject of this episode of Restaurant: Impossible. Robert Irvine is aghast at the state of the kitchen, and thankfully manage to round up eight people to spend 12 hours working on cleaning things up. And just in time as well, as the health inspector happened to turn up before the next commercial break.
Robert draws the line with one of the obstinate chefs about kitchen cleanliness, and there are even captions so we can understand what the obstinate chef is saying as he defends himself against Robert's charges.
The obstinate chef "fires himself" by not turning up the following day, and Robert manages to get five chefs to apply to be the chef at the Restaurant. Three get to the second round which is the re- opening night. This was a success, and West Orange Mayor Robert Parini turns up to offer support.
Impressive work by Robert and his team. The Restaurant was totally transformed.
