All the hard work gone into maturing and developing Maddy has gone in a flash. She's massively unlikable here and any attempt to portray Oscar as the bad guy backfires completely.Even the other characters know Maddy's the one wrecking the relationship and by the end she's thrown away an adult relationship with a decent boy because of a crush on an immature jerk, and she doesn't even care. The whole thing lapses into melodrama with the last scene, where Jake Speer struggles to find any sort of motivation.
Andy's concerns about Josh just about work although they seem a bit exaggerated, and pulling his iPod out because he hasn't left the house for a few hours seems excessive.Meanwhile, Hunter continues to be a massive tool who gets in the way of what could be decent story lines, and any good will built up over Irene's storyline gets lost with the ridiculous idea of her decades-old blanket being discovered by someone less than a week after its existence was established.
Best bit:Zac and Evelyn dancing.
