Season 4 Episode 15: Fear the Unknown
Annie is an athletic mother from Illinois. Trent is a man afraid of the dark due to an encounter with Bigfoot when he was younger. The duo are thrown in the Belize jungles of South America where it doesn't take long for things to go rather bonkers.
Of all the episodes that I've seen I must admit that this here was probably my least favorite. The two survivalists were rather strange to say the least and while this added some entertainment early on it eventually ran rather thin and especially when you consider that way too much time was spent with Trent and his fear of the dark. There's a lot of scenes with him in his camp where he's terrified of something outside. There are cameras outside the camp but we never saw any footage of what was coming into the camp. Perhaps it just wasn't caught on camera but at the same time it just didn't ring true. Too much time was spent on this and not on the actual environment.
