Powerful and stunning, showing dreadful situation people there is facing.

The moment the film ended, my brain went empty. It was so stunning. I just wanted to see more, and knew more about what's happening in the city.

I am living in Asia, In my country, Syria is never on the radar for the local media. Things on the film somethings I have never come across on TV news here. Even if the media in my Country did sometimes mention it, the focus must be the conflict and negotiation between Russia and the US or what the Syrian president had said, but never the suffering of the people.

The suffering of Syrian children are heartbreaking. In the film, a reporter interviewed a Syrian boy, who witnessed an air strike. The boy described it so calmly and fluently in his language that, without the subtitle, one could never imagine he was saying something so dreadful - so many people suffered horrendous injury, a man got one of his eye almost fallen out, barely attached to the eye socket by some tissue. His friends died. The boy looks no older than 12.

I searched BBC that day for what's happening in Apello, and have found that the city is still chaotic today. Nothing has changed since 2014 when they shoot those footage. Bombardment is continuing. It seems hopeless.

If the Lord or Allah do exist, knowing that he allows something so terrible to happen, I think he owns an apology to the Syrian people.

It think it a must watch if you want to go beyond statistics, city names, party names or politician speech and know more about home truths nobody talks about.
