Until when we are going to accept that a camera man do nothing but shooting when a baby lion is been torture to death, just for the sake of a good shot and "the circle of live"? We all know how it works and we all saw it thousands of time and yet accept to see how keep making documentaries where animals could be saved but the documentary´s team do nothing just for the sake of shooting a scene that we all know and saw it before.
I don´t like to see this type of documentary because it is just about morbosity dressed as "brutal or honest look at the circle of life".
I don´t see any difference between this documentary and watching a bullfight in the arena; same kind of "washing my hands" for the sake of "art and culture".

Some video clips around some lions are cut together and a story is told about a pride of lions. There are no background information given to suggest, that all the assumptions about the motives of the behavior we are seeing are more than just the product of the fantasy of the author. The story tells us stuff about family ties and enemy lions, but you could easily tell a very different story to the same pictures. The pictures themselves are partly good (a hunting sequence in the second half of the film) but sometimes random and meaningless. The title of this film uses the term "giant killers". I feel this gives us a view on the mindset of the producers. This was almost painful for me to watch to the end.
