MPAA Rated R for bloody violence

Sex & Nudity

  • Green arrow gets hit in the crotch with a squeaky mallet. (Played for Laughs)
  • 2 Kissing scenes.

Violence & Gore

  • Violence is actually on par with PG-13 DC animated movies. There are only two scenes of actual blood which is when superman punches through two people on different occasions. There is no gore but blood is shown for about 4 or 5 seconds. Otherwise without those two scenes it probably would've earned a PG-13 Rating, but even at that, it's not that graphic.

  • Mild language. A couple uses of ''hell'', ''ass". Four uses of Sh*t
  • 6 uses of sh.t, 3 uses of a$$ multiple uses damn it and many mild profanities
  • Plastic Man flips off (Does the middle finger to) the camera.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Scarecrow uses his fear toxin.
  • One scene involves characters going to a bar, but drinking is only briefly seen.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • 14 or 15+. This movie is honestly quite mild for it's rating but still has a good amount of content only appropriate for teens.
  • This is by far one of the most intense and darkest Justice league movies ever.

The Parents Guide items below may give away important plot points.

Violence & Gore

  • Robin (Damian) kills night wing and tiny blood splatters are visible
  • Batman punches a log after night wings death his fists are very bloody
  • Superman flies through a villain from prison and kills him very bloody and a lot of blood is shown

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Nightwing's death it's very intense and emotional. Batman cried because of his death. For every Batman fan, it's going to be very hard to watch the best superhero crying.
  • The beginning of the movie it is very intense because Joker explodes all of Metropolis, Flash was killed because of the Joker's Toxin, and Lois Lane dies due to the joker making superman believe that Lois was actually doomsday, and in doing suffocated her in space. This is what caused the explosion. Also, at the time, Lois was pregnant. All of this is very difficult to watch.
