I thought I would write a few comments from notes I took seeing this Doc at a film fest. For many girls/women reality of living in the poorest ghettos of the world means survival is based on selling your body. This film is a glimpse at what it takes to survive - and it isn't pretty. In many of these places there is no value to life and the ghetto dwellers dont have so much as an identity on Government records. Some sell themselves under the guise of prostitution to crews on container ships only to be killed for fetish sacrifices.
As can be expected there is rampant use of drugs to take the edge off.
Surprisingly most have religion and seek redemption from selling their bodies and some small groups of women have forged out an entrepreneurial business allowing them to afford a "flat" to live in. Very difficult for children born into the ghettos to advance outside of it. A worthwhile watch.
