Lisa Ling, As much as you feel women should be empowered you don't even know to stop calling females over the age of 18, "Women", and NOT girls. Females over the age of 18 are WOMEN!!!!

Who in their work doesn't have mentors? This is just like any other kind of job. Some jobs are great some suck butt! Some people love their job some people just do it for the money.

Like any job a person can have some daddies/employers are butt holes and "F" you over and rape you - it happens in the corporate world just like it could happen in the sugar world. Where is the documentary on people getting "F"ed over and raped in the corporate world. The problems is you don't hear this side, probably since the people interviewed in this documentary are all young college age babies, none with the experience to know this side. Not all babies are literally babies.

You ask these woman and want these women to do their dreams and goals on their own, no one does that. We all have people that help us out, or at least the majority of people do. I am sure you had a mentor. We all use different methods to get what we want to accomplish our dreams. Utilizing resources & finding mentors is the women doing it! NO ONE DOES IT/LIFE ON THEIR OWN! Even the rich are dependent on someones to get their money.

There is a lot of judgment in this documentary! It reminds me of the religious guilt ridden conservatives of this country. Even the way, "mutual beneficial" is emphasized vocally has undertones of judgment.

If you want to look at the bad side. What about SA inflating their numbers, or the women who got stood up- she then had to pay her own meal. There isn't even a look at the financial difference between a pt job and an SA job. What about SA paying people to chat others up, having fake people - what about that!?!?!?

Very one sided & we know where the author stands!
