Bad sexploitation
franklindf24 May 2017
Yes, this is a sexploitation movie. But pretty much the only thing going for this movie is the attractive female lead. Everything else about the movie is pretty bad, and the acting is about on the level you would find in an average porn movie. I do tend to be pretty forgiving about movies like this because I enjoy sincere efforts to make movies with a low budget. I don't even mind the types of shortcuts this type of film necessitates. But this film is mostly just unsatisfying. At its heart it is a basic revenge tale, a woman defeated by her circumstances who is normally docile but gets forced to her limits and pushed into a situation she no longer can tolerate without answering back. The setup for this plot is tolerable and reasonably well done. But as the plot escalates, some of the tension gets lost and the revenge scenario doesn't really satisfy as a culmination of the frustrations and angst suffered by the main character. The revenge part is almost too clearly spelled out and feels sort of transactional - something was missing, like the raw animal savagery of depravity satiated; that feeling just wasn't there. The film doesn't successfully manage tension, expectations, etc like a good horror movie should.

Twisted Indie Horror Flick
gwnightscream19 August 2019
Warning: Spoilers
This 2017 horror film features a young woman, Megan (Alicia Watson) who loses her boyfriend, her job and her late, mother. She gets a job at a sleazy, gentleman's strip club to make some extra cash and finds herself working with a group of people who are not only rude and trashy, but lethal. This is a twisted flick with some sexy girls and gruesome make-up effects, but the audio is awful as well as some of the acting. There are disturbing and violent aspects similar to "Showgirls" and "I Spit On Your Grave." If you're into revenge type flicks, you could give this a try.

One of the best worst movies ever, but i still wouldn't reccomend
alicerose-5767222 October 2023
Warning: Spoilers
This movie is insane. It looks like it was shot on a mix of iphones and potatoes, not one actor seemed to be wearing a mic, the editing was ATROCIOUS (like inserting still Getty images into the film for multiple seconds level bad), the acting was godawful (with the exception of Jazz) and most of the time it looked like the opening of a bad porno. Hilarious (for the most part) to watch with friends, and the practical effects were actually sort of decent, but those are pretty much the only redeeming features. It also showed a disturbing amount of very fake looking but still horrible to watch sexual violence. So no. Dont watch.

Strip club airheads in a murderous indie
Leofwine_draca8 May 2017
Warning: Spoilers
STRIP CLUB MASSACRE is a Z-grade horror movie shot on an indie budget. The whole film takes place in a nightclub populated by female strippers although the nudity is kept to a bare minimum. Plotwise, this feels a little like Verhoeven's SHOWGIRLS, charting the rivalry between various strippers and the way it spirals out of control, although this film has more of an exploitation feel.

The tension builds to one of the lamest and most unrealistic torture scenes you'll ever see, featuring eyeball removal and the like. The victim's continued moaning doesn't even vary at this point making it all rather unrealistic. The ending turns into revenge territory but it's so inept that you have to laugh at it. The characters in the film are one-dimensional airheads and the acting is so bad that the actresses are frequently trying not to laugh during line delivery.

Beware of imitators...
Howlin Wolf5 September 2017
The name 'Bob Clark' suckered me into watching this before I realised it was made after he died... but I have no excuse for sticking it out. Suffice to say that this isn't an offering from the legend of cult film that gave us "Black Christmas" and "Porkys", and it's an unfortunate coincidence that this amateur shares the same name...

There is one positive, though; if you're an aspiring film-maker struggling to keep the faith, then check it out to boost your morale - if this can get released, then ANYTHING can!

no one was paid in this movie
kaefab21 May 2017
Wow we are in 2017 i cannot believe movies like this are still being made.

It looks like it was shot a la 1990 porno movie, there is no acting in this movie its just people going true dialogues. There is no story, i turned it off after 30 minutes enough was enough for me.

Its sad that horror is always the choice for a starting director, i really hope that he who did this movie does not do anymore, he left is mark on a very very very bad movie.

Ahhh hell naw..
MovieCriticOnline24 February 2021
I thought it was gonna be a goof, like bad as in so bad it was fun, but the production was way below 90s home video. It was just ridiculous. They literally just used the sound from the camera microphone. LOL

There is ZERO craftsmanship in this film. None, nada, zippo.

Make up was horrible. Acting was horrible. Everything was horrible.

This gets a AHH HELL NAW from me..

Miserable movie
djpanzerschlag9 February 2023
I love B movies. I love C movies. I love movies that are good. This movie, however, is the cinematic equivalent of "that kid" that got called on to read in English class that everyone hates.

I actually couldn't make it through the entire movie. The pacing is awful. An hour in and the only thing the we have established is that the main character had an awful day and got a job at a strip club where three other girls just randomly murder patrons and coworkers. That's it. It took an hour to get all of that information out.

Not only does the pacing fall flat, but the acting and cinematography is all terrible. Somehow we've sunk below modern porn standards; nothing in this movie is engaging. Nothing in this movie is interesting. Noting in this movie even looks good.

Go find a movie that doesn't take itself so seriously.

Indie sexploitation
jennaalger10 May 2017
Warning: Spoilers
I enjoyed the hell out of this one. This movie is definitely for fans of B and C horror and indie films. I have fondness for trashy, funny, bad in all the best ways movies, so this was up my alley from the jump. Not to say this movie is without its flaws! For the type of film this is, the acting wasn't half bad. Some actors were definitely better than others. The dialogue was shaky, but there are some good one liners. The overall concept was good; can't go wrong with murderous strippers! So go into this movie expecting to laugh and be disgusted, and understanding that it's a low low budget indie film. Flawed, but intensely entertaining! Boobs, gore, strap-ons, what more could you ask for? Gonna end up a cult classic in my opinion.

Wow, what a masterpiece!
smilemark25 November 2020
My friend recommended me this film, so I watched it and I got overhelmed by the greatness of this masterpiece. I wasn't expecting very much at first, because the title is not very special and the film isn't popular. But that is deceptive!

Bob Clark proofed once more that he is a genius in this genre and filmstyle. How smooth he let the story come to an thrilling climax...it is just speechless.

The Actors are great, despite their beauty, they are well choosen for this film.

I can guarantee by my name that this film is an entertaining, thrilling and brutal movie that will furfill your desires to the fullest!

Have fun watching, and don't forget the popcorn!

Brilliant Film - Underrated
j-a-julian7 May 2024
I don't understand why this little film is so underrated on IMDB. Excellent character development. A very beautiful sophisticated cast. Costuming is outstanding.

The story is well told with tight direction. The plot never drags.

The music track is a mix of familiar and original material, perfectly chosen to support the plot.

The killing sequences are innovative and well executed (pun intended). I will stop short of a spoiler, but the scenes of execution by anal insertation of a crowbar are priceless. The entire contents of the intestines wind up on display.

Unfortunately the sex scenes all seem to be simulated and are not very exciting.
