Simple romance without frills (from Stormy)
lor_21 August 2018
Stormy Daniels' love of traditional Hollywood storytelling is much in evidence with this no-frills XXX Romance starring Scarlet Red. Clearly Stormy identifies strongly with Red's character, a youngster finding true love, and Couples Romance genre fans (or what's left of them in today's harsh, gonzo environment) might appreciate her old-fashioned approach.

I was yearning for some dramatics or twists, but soon settled into the intentionally banal and uneventful story line. Opening has young Christina's boyfriend of two years moving out, and most of the back story is carried by Red's voice-over narration in the role.

No particular reason is given for the break-up: Red's Christina wants to continue exploring while Mountain's Jared is moving away, to a new job in a new location. She met him while she was working in a bookstore but is now a waitress with best friend at work Sara Luvv counseling her on romantic possibilities.

But the story unfolds in a very traditional match-making format, as a favorite customer, 25-years-married lady Veronica Avluv, fixes Christina up with her son Jay Smooth. He speaks with a thick accent, but no explanation is proferred for this oddity, given the all-American parents Avluv and Eric Masterson.

Love and marriage to Jay occurs without a hitch, and film ends with his money shot on their wedding night, with the sole point of interest being fetish action of watching Scarlet hump her new hubby while still wearing her bridal veil. She repeats Luvv's admonition about "perfect timing", but overall the bland film is way too perfect to be engrossing. Wicked contract superstar Asa Akira pops up uncredited in a nothing role of a restaurant manager.
