Warning: Spoilers
. . . perhaps you could find one or two people among the 21st Century's 8 billion who'd be interested in knowing that Frank Tashlin hated Porky Pig, which constitutes WACKY WARNER ONE-SHOTS' main "scoop." However, since ALL Dead Folks are on the Equal Footing of the Past, knowing Frankie's feelings about a particular Porker is akin to such esoteric if not archaic hearsay as "Socrates loathed Terrycloth Bathrobes," or "Eve really wished that she had Trademarked her name-rights prior to making the apple sauce." Though WACKY is full of brief clips from dozens of random Looney Tunes, only a few of the titles of these animated shorts are even mentioned in passing by the five "talking heads" featured here. On-screen annotation is used even more sparingly by the crew grinding out Warner Bros.' BEHIND THE TUNES series. Perhaps these DVD "Special Features" are as fully automated as those self-driving cars that have been crashing into things lately. Hopefully, when the bugs are worked out of such vehicles, people will be able to ride coast-to-coast in their own clunkers without ever having to take their eyes off an Automobile Entertainment System playing all 1,100 Looney Tunes on a continuous loop.
