Good First Episode
rocknstephxox22 January 2016
Warning: Spoilers
The season 3 premier is a great first look at what this season can possibly achieve if taken in the right direction. Murphy's character is breaking down and he is slowly changing from his hard, hot-headed series premier character. Jaha seems to be entering a new realm of fantasy that is questionable at best. He will almost certainly drag Murphy into some unnecessary and unwanted challenges. The sky people are struggling to maintain peace. Bellamy has a new love interest, booooo! Clarke is now a redhead (not sure how I feel about this, for her or the scenario) and is being hunted by the various clans that hope to obtain her strength by defeating her. If the CW plays their cards right this could be a great season with the perfect balance of drama and action. I really hope they pull it off. Good start!

A good start.

Continuing the storyline. Time-skipped the Ark, interesting to see how things works and what's going on after three months. Setting up the conflict, new plot points. While keeping the mystery of the City of Light.

A well done performance by all cast and one hell of a season premiere

The long awaited season 3 premiere of the 100 kicked off to a great and promising start. This episode shows a lot of greatly anticipated moments I know I have personally been wanting to see. It holds great promise for what is to come in the upcoming episodes. I can hardly contain my excitement! I thought it had just the right amount of suspense to keep us, viewers, on our toes. I enjoyed seeing how 3 months forward has changed our favorite characters. The actors are as talented and convincing as I remembered from season 2. An awesome cast, captivating story, and a thrilling new world awaits anyone who watches season 3. I can't wait to find out what Jason Rothenberg has in store for the rest of the season! He completely without a doubt nailed this episode, and I can't wait to see what's next!

Lost between season 2 and 3..
tbgy7777 April 2016
Hi everyone!

I am just curious; am I the only one who lost most of the storyline between season 2 and 3? Do I have mental problems? Please, be honest with me! :)

  • Ice Nation? (Where did they come from) - City of Light (Is it real, or just imaginary?) - How did Lexa contacted with the Ice Nation?

Did I miss one (or some?) episodes...?

I remember very clearly the ending of season 2, and somehow it appeared to me at the beginning of season 3, that I missed a complete season... :-/

Possibilities.... Watch it in the hopes the next episodes get better!

Warning: Spoilers
The immense loopholes and impossible characteristics of the first two seasons took a hit of cocaine and went on overdrive in this season's opening episode. First of all, how is it even close to possible for these characters to somehow in three months speak a completely different language!? As someone whose primary language is not English, and who has lived in a different country the past four years, the impossibility of this scenario is borderline comical. Specially for Clarke whose character has been reduced to a panther killing, lesbian warrior who everyone is hunting because of her "killing power" What?!!! Yes, that was my reaction when watching the first 20 minutes of this abominal premiere. Jasper, I completely understand he lost Maia, but his behavior is borderline ridiculous and he is obviously a next victim for the writers. I would be surprised if he makes it past season 3. Apparently Ice Nation means white paint on faces?! Still confused about them. Finally to some good news! The city of light storyline seems promising. Murphy is a complicated and fun character to watch and Thelonious will be a fearsome, and crazy "seen the light" fanatic to watch develop in the upcoming episodes (fingers crossed). Like the first two episodes of the first season, I am taking this premier as a promise of better things to come. Watch the premiere and make it through in the hopes of the possibilities that the season has to offer.

Decline

Warning: Spoilers
This episode takes place 3 months after the end of season 2. Where season 2 reverted the series back to "Dawson's Creek Meets the Apocalypse", Season 3 starts with the writers saying 'we can take it down some more.' The show has now developed the intellectual writing of Hart of Dixie.

Now, Clark's character is into gratuitous lesbian sex. Wow, we used to have plot, now we only have titillation. One reviewer posted how the first words on Earth was 'We're back, bitches.', unfortunately we haven't gotten better.

New questions....

1) Violent Femmes? That's all that survived? Add it up on piano is just miserable. So... Did only one album make it through?

2) I want THOSE tires. No vulcanization plants but we now have tires.

3) How many languages did Clark 'pick up' during her 3 month 'alone time'.

4) Why would the Sky People care about the Grounders think about the mountain?

5) Floor girl writing is a mess. She's dating a card-board cutout with a six pack and has developed into an angsty teenager with a sword who phases in and out of deep understanding of the warrior code.

6) Murphy. To those writing the series, please stop the weak attempt of esoteric writing.

7) Ice people. Riding around on a horse with a beacon. Bad, bad, bad writing.

8) To the actor playing Jasper. The writers really hate you.

Is insane...

Warning: Spoilers
The fact that the the one person who had probably the least fighting experience and almost never spoke the language of the grounder became in 3 months one of the most fierced worrior in the entire show?? Also, she is lesbian now cuz why not. Oh... and nice find of tires, bet they made out of thin air. It was expected for a show with 7 season to go downhill, sadly... it happened faster than expected. Also "The Ice Nation"?! So the ice" thing about them is the fact that they have white paint on them? It is beyond me how they taught the master mind and leader of the sky people can do and 360 like that for the sake of them trying to do something different.
