Possibilities.... Watch it in the hopes the next episodes get better!
13 February 2016
Warning: Spoilers
The immense loopholes and impossible characteristics of the first two seasons took a hit of cocaine and went on overdrive in this season's opening episode. First of all, how is it even close to possible for these characters to somehow in three months speak a completely different language!? As someone whose primary language is not English, and who has lived in a different country the past four years, the impossibility of this scenario is borderline comical. Specially for Clarke whose character has been reduced to a panther killing, lesbian warrior who everyone is hunting because of her "killing power" What?!!! Yes, that was my reaction when watching the first 20 minutes of this abominal premiere. Jasper, I completely understand he lost Maia, but his behavior is borderline ridiculous and he is obviously a next victim for the writers. I would be surprised if he makes it past season 3. Apparently Ice Nation means white paint on faces?! Still confused about them. Finally to some good news! The city of light storyline seems promising. Murphy is a complicated and fun character to watch and Thelonious will be a fearsome, and crazy "seen the light" fanatic to watch develop in the upcoming episodes (fingers crossed). Like the first two episodes of the first season, I am taking this premier as a promise of better things to come. Watch the premiere and make it through in the hopes of the possibilities that the season has to offer.
