The outcome of Erin's storyline is massively frustrating. The episode seems to be desperate to exonerate Sonya of all blame and say that not everyone can be a shining example of humanity like her, but the overall impression is of her playing with people's lives because of her own issues and putting two people through unnecessary trauma with a ridiculously rushed attempt at a family reunion.Disappointing.
Meanwhile, Chris and Lucy hit a stumbling block in their baby plans, mainly thanks to some manipulation from Paul and Nate.Curiously, Nate comes off worse;Paul only seems to want to formalise things, Nate seems to be actively trying to sabotage them.
Lou's return is welcome for about two scenes, then it becomes about a silly and slightly degrading storyline where Lou and Sheila compete to employ a dumb comedy foreigner because the customers are more interested in ogling him than actually getting what they ordered. What?
