Slow
Calicodreamin1 October 2020
The second episode without any slasher action and its starting to slow down. Some interesting revelations but nothing too unexpected.

The shoe's on the other foot.

Emma gets a taste of her own medicine, as she is subjected to a similar experience as Audrey had.

This is quite similar to the previous episode, in that it gives us lots more story, but not a lot of horror. It perhaps does expose the point made earlier that a slasher theme works best as a standalone movie, in that it's able to be quick and punchy, this feels slow.

Who is playing Emma, there are a few people that seem to be playing her, right now we just don't know.

Interesting, but we need action, 6/10.

"What Feels to Be The Star of The Show?"

Warning: Spoilers
(Some Spoilers)

Last week, "Scream" showed us its breakthrough in terms of a series of horror, leading to Emma (Willa Fitzgerald), Audrey (Bex Taylor- Klaus), and Noah (John Karna) through a yearbook to an abandoned hospital to look for clues and information of who could be Brandon James. The end of the episode was based on the problems of youth based on sex ending with a phrase paralyzed: "Hi Emma, What feels to be the star of the show?" After a few episodes full of drama, horror, and good drafting "Exposed" descends its quality visibly. It is almost obvious that youth audience wants a death weekly, because it is "Scream", it's about an assassin, and somehow they are necessary, because deaths are what make this type of programs, besides, the deaths provide dramatic weight generating certain part of horror and mystery, so, murders were needed, and therein lies one of the errors of this chapter, in addition to boring plots, romance clichés and more and more questions.

This time the director has taken the wrong direction, focusing on three subplots that were not presented in the best way, the first is showing the skills of Noah and Audrey for get enough inquiries to convict Branson (Bobby Campo) of being the murderer the second showed to Will and Jake blackmailing the Mayor (Brooke's father) on the basis of money and the third showed to Brooke (Carlson Young) and Jake discovering a possible solution for the death of her mother.

Emma is terribly exhausted and embarrassed to go to school, it causes that breaks her relationship with Will, where then falls into the arms of Kieran (Amadeus Serafini) and has sex with him. This series is based on the saga of murderers as well as the development of the protagonist is this turning abruptly, Emma is concerned because an assassin haunts her, How does she has time to fall in love and be happy with a couple of guys, the development is becoming in a stupid thing. Once more Audrey and Noah demonstrate that they are the most part of the series, capturing the moment intriguing taking information from teacher's computer, two of them are having a perfect time and would be a great incentive that this fantastic duo had something to do with the great problem of Lakewood.

"Scream" decreased slightly with its last proposal. We are going in the middle of the season, with successes and mistakes, so we hope that in these last episodes it retake that force of its third chapter to get the green light for an exciting and desirable second season.
