This series of five minute shorts is set in the Fleurir Academy; an elite training ground for those who wish to make the very best confectionery. Our protagonist is sixteen year old Sayuri Haruno girl who has won a scholarship to the prestigious school. At first some of the other students take against her but she soon makes friends; with both students and some of the surprisingly young staff members. Some of the staff take a particular interest in Sayuri despite strict rules against student-teacher relationships.
This is a fairly insubstantial series which is probably best watched in chunks rather than watching one episode at a time at only five minutes per episode it is easy to forget what happens if you leave too long between instalments. The story itself is okay; based more on a series of events rather than a dramatic overarching plot. The character designs are pretty good; Sayuri is a cute protagonist and she is surrounded by the bishounen male characters one would expect of a shoujo anime of this type handsome but not threatening. Overall an okay series which is worth watching if you want some fairly undemanding anime that won't take up much of your time.
