Cole Sprouse has a zen approach to his re-emergence into the spotlight.
Chalk it up to his many years in the business and surviving child stardom, or that he took a step back from the entertainment industry to go to and graduate from college, or that he has a very successful second career as a photographer. Whatever it is, not much rattles Sprouse, 25 — even those rumblings about a romance with his Riverdale costar Lili Reinhart (we’ll get to that later). He’s taking it all in stride, including the fact that he is part of People’s Sexiest Man Alive issue,...

In celebration of Queen Elizabeth II's 70th wedding anniversary, Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton broke out some of the family jewels. The expectant royal mother of two stepped out Monday night sporting one of her favorite black tie ensembles, Diane Von Furstenberg's "Zarita" black lace gown. However, it wasn't the only stylish repeat. Around her neck, Middleton accessorized with the four row Japanese pearl choker, a royal piece also previously worn by Princess Diana and the queen. Chalk it up to timing or pure coincidence, but all of the women have sported the three-decades old diamond statement piece in November. The monarch first loaned the design to her late...

Crypt of Curiosities: A Look Back at Universal’s Horror Films Featuring Rondo Hatton’s “The Creeper”
In the mid ’40s, the Universal Monsters were in a tough spot. Up until then, the ’40s had been a nonstop flow of sequels and one-offs, with an avalanche of Invisible Men, Draculas (Draculi?), and the odd Frozen Ghost here and there releasing at a steady clip. But this high release rate had made them stale, and by the time 1946 came around, the studio was in desperate need of a new, recognizable monster.
Enter Rondo Hatton. A journalist-turned-b-movie-bit-player, Hatton had been afflicted with acromegaly for most of his adult life, which enlarged his jaw and pronounced his forehead over the years. This distinctive appearance led to him being cast as nameless goons up until the ’40s, when he got his big, career-defining role as The Creeper.
Curiously, The Creeper’s first appearance wasn’t in a horror film at all. It was in The Pearl of Death (1944), one of the...

Following Bill Cosby‘s recent mistrial in his prosecution on sexual assault charges, former TV co-star Raven-Symoné says she has been focusing on her own projects and not Cosby’s case, but she wants “everybody who deserves justice” to get it.
“I am trying to do this show right now, and that’s going to work it out,” she said during an appearance on Thursday’s People Now. “I want everybody who deserves justice to get justice.”
Symoné, 31, is now starring in the Disney Channel’s Raven’s Home. She has spoken sparingly about Cosby, 80, and the allegations against him in recent years,...

The summer 2017 box office calendar promised us laughter. It also promised that we’d see girls behaving just as badly as the boys. Girls Trip and Rough Night were promoted as the raunchy femme answer to The Hangover and the direct descendant of the ultimate R-rated female comedy Bridesmaids.
However, what we got from summer 2017 was a series of comedic flops -- with Will Ferrell seeing his lowest box office returns with The House, reboots like Baywatch and CHiPs failing to land with audiences, and Rough Night ultimately earning less money to date than last year’s big hit, Bad Moms, did in its opening weekend.
More: Why Jada Pinkett Smith Can't Watch 'Girls Trip' With Daughter Willow
“You know, comedies haven’t worked this summer. They’ve been having a hard time. Audiences have not been coming out in droves for comedies,” Girls Trip producer Will Packer admitted to Et’s Kevin Frazier at the...

How ‘Martha and Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party’ Became a Joint Effort to Make the World a Better Place
Chalk it up to chemistry, the perfect recipe, or secret sauce. Whatever the magic is that happens between Snoop Dogg and Martha Stewart, viewers lap it up on “Martha and Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party.”
Premiering one day before the 2016 presidential election, VH1’s hybrid cooking show-celebrity hangout became a safe haven for those afraid that Trump’s America would create even more marginalized groups and divisions. Instead, “Potluck Dinner Party” envisions a world where homemaking meets hip-hop and “A Good Thing” lives in harmony with “Nuthin’ But a G Thang.” Martha and Snoop’s friendship and natural camaraderie became a model for the world we wanted to live in.

Cannes we get an amen! It's only been a few days of the French film festival, but the sightings of celebs in couture and diamonds will keep us inspired until at least fashion week. The 10-day long event holds several red carpets, a.k.a. a super-long podium to show off statement jewelry, one-of-a-kind dresses and even more glamorous moments than you'll see at any award show. Yes, consider this Oscars on style steroids. Plus, the actors, models and influencers who attend the festival are oftentimes more inclined to take fashionable risks. Chalk it up to that Parisian spirit. Take, for instance, Bella Hadid—the model was the definition of glamour in a pale-pink Alexandre Vauthier dress for the Opening...
