Clowns vs Weirdos
Horst_In_Translation23 February 2017
Warning: Spoilers
"Chavs vs Greebos" is a 3-minute live action short film from 2006, so this one is already over a decade old. Writer and director is Callum Rutherford, who apparently took a 10-year-break afterward and is now back to making movies. He also appears as an actor in here, so I guess he is one of the boys we see in this one, which means he must have been very young still. I really hope he managed to step things up since then. I have absolutely no idea what his purpose was with this very short movie. Is it supposed to make a statement on gang violence in the UK? If co, then it was utterly unsuccessful. We see two groups of kids clash, insult each other, then fight. A girl has a bleeding nose and apparently this shocked everybody so much that they respect each other at the end of the film. The music used in here may be good, but it is neither original and also does not make any sense in the context where we listen to it really. What else is there to say? I guess you have to start somewhere and in Rutherford's example, this was certainly rock bottom. It's not even good/memorable enough to work as a stage play at school. The intention to make this to honor a dead person (fellow student?) may be honorable, but I am not sure he or anybody else would want to be remembered for this project. Stay far far away.

A Bad School Project
chrisholton8630 March 2017
This is a bad school project, with no depth or meaning, and does not belong on IMDb. If this is genuinely trying to be a short film the shots and cinematography are awful and the fight scene is a joke. This is just someone uploading old junk to YouTube and rather bizarrely creating an IMDb director account for themselves to try to get a bit of status from it. Weird.

'An awesome violent short story' Ha. Awful.

Warning: Spoilers
I want to give this a 0, but you can't do that. Anyone who is even considering watching this awful mess, please do not waste your time. As pointed out in another review, 'they did a good job for 15 year olds', problem is you really can tell it was made by 15 year olds! From the awful, non believable acting, and lame ass fighting, that don't even look like they are fighting...how in any way is this 'an awesome violent short story' It is lame as anything. The message the video has to offer, is, I suppose something that gives this waste of a film a purpose, other than that it's the biggest load of s*it, and a complete waste of time!

Naughty violent hooligan sort of movie!

so saw this as a suggested movie so decided to give it a try and searched for it on google, ended up watching it on dailymotion, its only just over 3 minutes long so don't go in expecting so deep storyline because thats not what this is all about!

its a short film based on two different groups of teenagers that hate each other, Chavs & Greebos. there is a deep message within the film that if it wasn't there i wouldn't of given such a high review although the rest of the film is enjoyable!

there is a good fight scene in the movie and a couple of funny moments so overall it did a good job and would recommend to anyone trying to waste a few minutes of there day :)
