This short film had the impossible task of recapping the entire Bionicle storyline in four minutes. They made a good choice to focus on the toa teams since they were the main characters throughout the years. However, this also made the format quite repetitive. "In (name of location), the (name of toa team) battle the (name of enemy)". There is a passing mention of Makuta as the overall theme that threads together all the years of the Bionicle storyline, but I felt that Mata Nui also deserved a mention.
