Cartmel and sticky toffee pudding
safenoe27 September 2022
Warning: Spoilers
I like Rick Stein's personality. Rick Stein isn't one of the flashy celebrity chefs who has to have expletives non-stop to gain the attention of the audience and delivery high ratings and social media and so on. Rick has a gentle approach who does not in any way condescend to the people he visits.

For example in the Lake District he thankfully resisted the temptation to condescend to Cumbrians in a way some Londoners do unfortunately. Rick was very respectful. He was respected when he visited Cartmel Village Shop which is famous for its toffee pudding that can make your mouth water.

The Cumbrians do some good food.
