Beautiful Message

The singing is always a highlight of Tyler Perry's plays -- this was no exception! Along with the singing was the wonderful acting with bits of humor, moments of tears, and a heartwarming message on how to treat, protect, and love our children.

Too Much Religion

Tyler Perry is a genius ... so, what else is new? I laughed robustly in a few spots. Tyler added what made The Carol Burnett Show so extremely popular ... cast members cracking up over ad-libs ... from day one! Unfortunately, one gets very tired of him cramming the Baptist Church down our throats. I believe that majority of Americans deal with church the same way Madea does ..... been there, done that, and no thank you very much! One thing that Madea isn't is a hypocrite! One of the reasons I like Tyler Perry is that he brings us face to face with problems like the problems that exist in foster care families ... which occurs in far too many real families these days.

The acting is top rate ... the ad-libs are hilarious ... and Tyler Perry is in top form as a hell raising Madea: hero to every abused child in the world! The high point of the play is when Madea gets into the face of the foster mother and Madea's body bounces everywhere ... absolutely hilarious! Some of the singing is top rate, some leave a lot to be desired ... but, the play still leaves you wanting to watch it over again ... fast forwarding passed the religious songs, of course.

A word about Wess Morgan ... the man came across as a revivalist preacher throughout the play. Enough so that I constantly wondered if that was his day job. No, this is not meant as a complement, as he was suppose to be a child protection services supervisor ... and I don't believe there is such a person, like him, in that job. One of the biggest problems in child protection services is that none of them really gives a darn about the child ... its just a job! Wess playing one that actually did care, that was pretty great ... but he took it over the top with coming across as a television evangelist!

DO I LOOK LIKE A MAN TO YOU?

Warning: Spoilers
It seems the foster mom next door mistreats her kids. This is another play. Madea makes an entry about 30 minutes into the production. This is a 90 minute play extended to 2 hours for the numerous spiritual songs. Good Fun. TP breaks character with a manly laugh.

Pretty much the same old TP stuff. Fun to watch.

Review for Madeas Neighbors from Hell
beglesean18 May 2014
Madeas Neighbors from Hell it really speaks to what I have gone through in my life and it encourages me because the message is just so strong and so important and I am just inspired by it and it is just helpful and it will lift you up, and give you something to think about. And I can say I really enjoyed watching Madeas Neighbors from Hell because of that very reason. The Movie helps me to know and will help anyone to know that whatever you go through you can go through it, you can take it, you can endure it, and it just gives you the strength, and even if you have some strength it gives you greater strength, and it gives you greater power, and that is what I like about it.
