One Ghoul's Struggle...
LoyalLackey5 January 2021
First of all I just want to say, the Steam version does include the entire show (all 5 mini-episodes; 45mins of juicy Vampire drama) for only $2. It's a steal!

The show follows the struggles of a "Ghoul" in the World of Darkness universe. For those not familiar with the dark, gothic World of Darkness universe (or Vampire the Masquerade), Ghouls are regular humans that have consumed the blood of a vampire granting them temporary minor supernatural abilities (such as rapid healing and, I believe, increased strength) and a state of euphoria.

Mike is an ordinary human with a guilty conscience who has become entangled in the nightly underground politics of vampires. He's addicted to the blood of a vampire, and he'll do anything for another taste.

It's well produced, it has an enthralling story, and it has solid acting. The only I could ask for is more episodes!

vampires, ghouls

Warning: Spoilers
The story shows a blood hunt between vampires, through the eyes of their servants, especially a newbie ghoul who wants to understand his recent condition and his role in the vampire's society when he barely knows they exists. Thus, he fight against his personal hopeless and complain while he is forced against his will to serve the purposes of an inhuman monster, and losing at same time his own humanity. Just reflects the vision I have of ghouls and vampire's society MdT. A careful and detailed work, although no large effects budget, quality of photography and the script is sufficient to make the series an outstanding job. PD Sorry I'm not a native English speaker. (Thanks google translator)
