Boring noir episode.

Warning: Spoilers
This episode originally aired about 4-5 hours ago on TV. Seen it online. This episode stands out to me as being one of the least interesting ones I've seen this season. I took a look at the trivia and it claimed that this was supposed to originally air in season 1. I was wondering why the copyright in the ending credits listed the episode as 2014. This was a noir episode with scenes in black and white. In television, the noir gimmick has been overdone so trying to keep it fresh and interesting is a definite challenge to write for. I felt like setting the noir scene around a goldfish was a wasted opportunity to approach an old angle with something that advanced the story line between any of the characters of the show or gave us more of an insight about them or even did something as creative and interesting as give us alternate egos of the characters that still possess at least a little bit of the qualities of the original characters. This did none of that.

Cute Episode

I think this is an adorable episode and I love Auggie's whole Sherlock Holmesian fourth-wall breaking Owl Detective thing. While I don't like this aspect in the Girl Meets Terror episodes in those cases it's more those specific episodes then the fourth-wall breaks. I think the little interaction between Lucas and Auggie at first in Riley's room when they talk and then he pulls Auggie into his lap and hugs him is adorable. Then his interrogation scene is so cute. I loved Fish Store Phil's dry humor and wit is great and that he is awesomely funny.
