Great story about a horse that came from a questionable start and was incredibly successful because of love and knowledge.

A fun and unique documentary about a very special horse

A real gem of a documentary telling the story of a spunky rescue dressage horse D'artagnan and his life growing up in the backyards of Atlanta (where he was originally called Daddy-o!). The story is told through entertaining interviews with the amazing variety of people (Lynn is my fav) who have known D'artagnan throughout his life. Though the film is seemly all about D'artagnan, the secondary focus is the director Melissa Palmer. Her presence is felt throughout the movie and she has a unique way of approaching her subject that is both disarming and funny. I also love the music recorded by Page Campbell. It goes really well with the dreamy opening sequence. An enjoyable watch with a great cast of characters!
