The filmmaker Gilluis Perez stars in the LGBT -themed short film " No edge " . Supplied As part of the fifth annual Puerto Rico Queer Film Festival ( PRQFF ), the local short film was presented alongside No edged three other Puerto Rican -themed works Lesbian , Gay , Bisexual , Transsexual and Transgender ( LGBT ) . The film 's director and co-directed by Perez Gilluis actress and producer Joa Tous , presented the dark side of queer emotional relationships with a touch that makes it unique .
The main character, Rene , played by the director, is a young man who was a victim of family violence in their childhood. Product of the unstable household , René projects his inner aggression passively and quietly with Celeste , her partner , played by Jasmine Caratini . Later, René expresses its oppressive history in a more physical , and sexual violence with their new partner homosexual.
Recognized as gay, René ends in limbo abusive, struggles between love , violence and surrender with his two partners.
