The lead actress in this short really shows a lot of emotion. The way she moves from taking to camera(us the audience ) and then back to film is so natural. I can't believe it's her first film. All in this is a very strong debut. I can't wait to see more from her. It's a very personal film that explores one's own self doubt and the struggles of breaking out in the world all alone. Most of us can relate to struggling to cope with leaving school/college life and learning to live life all alone. There are 2 main characters Alex the lead who struggles with life and Sam, who is trying his hardest to help Alex brake out of her shell. Nice pace to it and all round well made.
