A very tightly-focused episode, basically focusing on the love lives of the Scott sisters and two of the Braxton brothers.Well, it's about a bit more than that but it's the three couples, or potential couples, that it's mainly concerned with.April and Dexter's storyline flounders early on as a result of some typical overacting and April being annoying. It improves towards the end with the twist of April learning to appreciate Dexter's sacrifice at the same moment he has second thoughts being handled okay although Peta's wandering motivation seems to be a case of projecting herself onto April.
Bianca and Heath's storyline works largely thanks to Lisa Gormley and Dan Ewing's comic timing, although Bianca throwing Heath out for the night does grate rather. It does allow Heath to have some great interaction with Casey, Tamara and Dexter and in the end both of them seem to make some valid points, mostly Bianca surprisingly.
Casey and Tamara don't irritate as much as they could but the sudden reappearance of Tamara's feelings is frustrating. Her planting a kiss on Casey, despite not even telling him she's back on the market, has curious parallels with her interaction with Kyle.
