The creators of this slop take liberties with established lore and twist beloved existing characters to elevate their mary sue tier OCs. The plot somewhat holds up for the first two episodes but unravels shortly after, with abundant plot holes. The dialogue is cringey to be frank and sounds more inspired by anime then actual good writing. The voice acting is painfully wooden, and the sound quality and mixing are exceptionally poor. The only voice actor to put genuine emotion into their character was the voice of Pires, but he still was saddled with a joke of a script. The facial animations are exaggerated to the point of parody. Tongues don't move, and the mouth movements dont sync with the verbalized words. The actual animation of pilots and titans moving and fighting is stiff and janky with frequently noticeable clipping. Connecting punches lack weight and do not have supporting vfx or sounds. The cinematography has far too many shots of character's eyes or parts of their face and action is poorly framed. Perhaps the worse part of this entire series is the number of exposition dumps. Most of the entire show that isn't the 5 minutes of intros is a few characters standing around and talking about what has happened or is going to happen. When you combine this exposition dumping with the poor animations and voice acting, there is nothing entertaining or interesting going on for most of the runtime. There is little redeeming about New Frontiers and nothing positive to say about it besides it making my friends and I laugh in disbelief nearly the entire run time. This is an embarrassment to the titanfall community and the fact that the creators think that this is somehow a revolutionary bit of filmmaking is embarrassing. This has the bones of something decent, but in its current state it is a poorly animated and acted proof of concept.
