There are very few dialogs in this over-smart drama about a grocery store owner. It talks about his attachment to the store and how it takes a toll on his life.
The screenplay is very dull and with the help of inappropriate lighting, the output directly falls into darkness. The story is simple & has some potential, although the plot selflessly concentrates on Kunjanathan's outlook of things. Mammootty is fine, so is the supporting cast.
With the second half mainly concerning about land encroachment & how it affects roadside local shops, it further induces boredom. I, to be honest, stopped paying attention till the climax, which pretended to be conclusive. But, it leaves the viewers hanging on to what must have happened for the rather happy ending. A disastrously implied film. Also, to raise the drama, a death is introduced uselessly.
BOTTOM LINE: Not recommended!
